Welcome to Marietta High School Freshmen Fridays
All A.B.O.A.R.D. (Acclimating incoming Blue Devils Through Orientation Highlighting Collaborative Activities, Meaningful Relationships, and High School Dynamics) and Seas the Day at Marietta High School during Freshmen Fridays! All current freshmen at Marietta High School are invited to attend this free, informational event from 8:00 AM until 12 Noon on the Friday corresponding with their last name. Each student will attend only one day of Freshmen Friday. Bus transportation will be provided for Freshmen Fridays, and lunch will be served! Activities will include a Meet and Greet, tour of MHS, team-building activities, and information geared toward Operation Graduation 2024. There are no official classes during this event!

Students with last names beginning E through L on 10/23/2020
Students with last names beginning M through R on 10/30/2020
Students with last names beginning S through Z on 11/6/2020
Freshmen will be divided into groups and rotate through four sessions led by various staff members. Students will gain an understanding of the various resources available at MHS and also have the opportunity to share lunch with a MHS employee.
All freshmen will be required to wear a mask when loading the bus, during transport on the bus, and for the duration of the program at MHS. Temperature checks will also be performed by a bus monitor before students load the bus. Students should pay special attention to the bus letter corresponding with their route. They will board the same bus at dismissal.
Mitigation strategies such as distancing, hand sanitizer stations, and the wearing of masks will be in place.
