  • Seniors will participate in a one-day boot camp at the start of senior year. At boot camp, they will review college admissions best practices, scholarship and financial aid information, hear from various college admission representatives and have college essays reviewed by staff.
  • At the senior student/family college planning meeting in the fall of the senior year, students and their parents meet with their assigned college advisor to review the actual application process.  Students should be prepared with a list of colleges to which they intend to apply, completed their senior survey.
  • Seniors should continue to attend college fairs and participate in college representatives' visits to MHS.
  • Seniors and their parents should attend the Financial Aid and College Admissions Workshops during their senior year.
  •  Ideally, application submissions should begin in October.
  • Seniors will have multiple opportunities, including three scheduled “Apply to College Days,” to receive assistance with their college applications.
