At Marietta High School, students self-select in the participation of individual and/or family college planning meetings as well as large group programming.  College Advising helps students identify and apply to colleges and universities that best fit their academic goals and personal interests.  Additionally, College Advising hosts many college admission representatives throughout the year, during the school day.  All students are highly encouraged to meet with their College Advisor.  Students and parents should bookmark this page and follow College Advising on social media for relevant and updated information.

Marietta High School utilizes Scoir as their primary college exploration tool and to manage the college application process for our students and their families. Every Marietta High School student and their parent/guardian has a Scoir account already. If you are a MHS Student or Parent/Guardian and you are not sure how to access your account, please reach out to the College Advising team! For those who have an account, feel free to access Scoir by click in the button below. Scoir can be utilized for any of the following tasks:

COLLEGE ADVISING
​COUNSELING CHATS
Counselor Chats were developed as an opportunity for parents/guardians to meet informally with the College Advising team and discuss the college readiness process.  The goal is for parents/guardians to be connected throughout the process and get an opportunity to learn about policies and protocols, trends, upcoming events/deadlines. We hope you can share experiences as you get your scholar to the finish line and/or the starting gate for college.
 
Counselor chats occur via Zoom on the second Tuesday of every month
